Dachumbau Berlin Tempelhof

Conceived as a compact live–work volume, Skylight Loft is organized around a single, continuous room punctuated by a structural spine and a top-lit void. A pair of generous rooflights washes the space with daylight, eliminating the need for artificial lighting through most of the day and visually expanding the modest footprint.

The service band itself reads as one piece of built-in furniture: pale, desaturated cabinetry with open shelving for books and everyday objects, a metal worktop, and tall units that conceal storage. The joinery turns the corner to form a shallow library and aligns with flush doors in the plastered wall, keeping elevations calm and continuous.
