Pineside Cabin, Crinitz
Sited on the seam between a pine meadow and a small farmyard, Pineside Cabin is a one-room-deep weekend house that stretches like a low horizon. A broad roof projects in all directions, creating a deep shaded verandah that makes the interior feel part of the landscape while tempering summer sun and rain.
Conceived as a slim bar on a meadow’s edge, the single-storey cabin is arranged living to one end, sleeping to the other, with a compact service core in between. The building’s defining experience is continuity with the garden: every room is lined with full-height glazing and has its own door to the terrace, so circulation naturally spills outside.
